Pick Integrity – How We Track Every Selection

Pick Integrity – How We Track Every Selection

We've noticed a small uptick in players claiming to their managers that their pick was not recorded and presenting an email as "proof".

Every pick in our system is time-stamped and recorded in an internal audit log. This includes:

  • The team originally picked

  • The exact time of selection

  • Any subsequent changes (and the new team)

So if someone claims they picked a different team, our records will show precisely what happened and when. This protects all players and managers from disputes.

In 13 years of operation, there has never been a verified instance where the software failed to record a pick correctly. While we released major updates in 2025, we were especially diligent in preserving pick integrity. Once a player sees the confirmation modal or receives a confirmation email, the pick is securely written to the database and to a separate audit log. These logs are indisputable.

We've had a couple cases where a player presented a specific email of an earlier pick, sometimes within seconds of submitting a different team that would generate another email. If this is done nefariously, it won’t hold up. The internal logs clearly show the true sequence of events.

This doesn’t apply to the rare situation (experienced briefly in Week 3) where a temporary outage or server slowdown can prevent a player from getting his picks in. For that reason, always wait for the confirmation page and/or make sure you receive the confirmation email after submitting your picks. And in the unlikely event of a server outage, simply email your picks to your league manager — they can be entered later once the site is back online.
