Player stats keeps changing - can’t remove player from Edit Player screens

I set player to inactive or not in league in player roster. I vi e back in at a later time and player is active again. I look up player in edit player screen, and remove button doesn’t work.

this extra player is thriving off the prize pool and I can’t remove him.
