Pickem Pool Tie-Breakers

Terminology

Tie-breaker game: This is the game that players guess the total points scored (or if configured, the margin of victory). The tie-breaker game is always shown at the bottom of the football pick sheet. After the game, players are assigned a tie-breaker value equal to the difference in their tie-breaker pick and the actual total points scored (or margin of victory if configured). This value is shown in the weekly standings tab. The player with the lowest tie-breaker value wins the tie-breaker.
Aggregate tie-breaker: This is a player's total tie-breaker score over the course of a season. It's the sum of each week's tie-breaker score. The lower the better.
Strength of Victory (SOV): Also called Margin of Victory, its the running margin total of all games picked. For each win, the winning team's final points scored minus the losing team's final points scored is added to the player's SOV. SO if a player picks Denver and they beat the Rams by 7 points, then 7 points is added to the player's SOV. For losses, the same logic applies except the margin is subtracted from the player's SOV.
