Running a Weekly Pickem Pool
Managers can configure their football pick'em league or confidence pool to run as either a season or weekly league. The differences between the two are subtle. The following list shows the distinct aspect of configuring your pickem league to run weekly, otherwise it behaves exactly as a season pickem league would.
Weekly Pick'em League differences:
- The Standings page will show the Weekly results by default. The Season standings can still be viewed, and there will still be final season winners.
- Players who join throughout the season are automatically set to 'Active' if 'Manager Approve' is set to 'no' (for season leagues, players who join after week 1 are set to Pending and require manager approval regardless of the 'Manager Approve setting).
- On the Manager's 'Player Accounts' page, a player's total due is based on the number of weeks they submitted picks. The total due will only add in the week's cost only if the player submits any picks that week.
- If the league is configured with a 'Perfect X jackpot', the jackpot increases by the player's cost only if the player submits picks that week (for season leagues, every player's cost feeds the pot every week, regardless of whether or not they got their picks in).
